Hiking at Daraje Canyon

Hiking at Daraje Canyon makes for a full day of fun and excitement! Also known as Dragot Canyon, this is one of the most impressive and challenging canyons in Israel. On this incredible tour, we cross more than a dozen waterfalls and pools filled with water, to combine our hiking with some swimming and splashing. 

 
This is not an easy tour, but it is definitely a memorable one, that regularly proves to be an enjoyable challenge even for experienced travelers.
This awesome excursion to the Daraje Canyon requires great knowledge of the terrain and advanced rope techniques, but our experienced guides will keep you feel safe, so you can focus on the fun!

Itinerary: 

We will meet at the Dragot Junction, and from there we’ll continue together to the starting point.

Before starting the hike, we will do a complete brief and hand every hiker a personal set of our quality desert canyoning equipment.

Now, we can start our adventure with passion! We will hike through the captivating views of the desert.

Hiking through unique cliffs will bring us to the heart of the canyon. We will walk through a series of gorgeous passages all the way down until we reach the deepest place on the Earth.

 

Duration: approx 7 hours. 

 

Ages: 12 and up. Those under 18 should have signed permission from parents or legal guardian. 

 

Bring with you: 

closed-toe shoes, hat, 3 liters of water, sunblock, snacks, a change of clothes. Note that you will get wet during the hike, so please wear appropriate clothing.  

 

The trip and times subject to changes according to weather conditions, security conditions, and decisions made by the trip leader in the field.
