3 Day Jordan Tour - Petra & Wadi Rum

This 3 day tour of Jordan will bring you from Israel, to show you the most incredible sites in Jordan. With this adventure, we explore the ancient city of Petra, UNESCO World Heritage Site that stands as a testimonial to humankind's genius. We also visit Jordan's capital, Amman, and the alien landscape of Wadi Rum. This tour is the perfect combination of sightseeing, history, desert camping, jeep riding, and hiking.

Itinerary

Day 1:

We gather at Jerusalem and transfer to Sheikh Hussein Crossing

We cross the border then  we visit Jerash and see The Roman city of Gerasa. We eat lunch at a local restaurant then drive to Amman where we visit the Citadel if time allows.

The Citadel is an amalgam of civilizations as the ruins of many civilizations can be seen in one place; the Roman Temple of Hercules, the Umayyad Palace, the Umayyad water cistern, the Byzantine church, the Ayyubid watchtower.

Then we drive to Petra and spend the night.

 

Day 2:

We eat breakfast and explore the Rose City with a guide. We lunch at a restaurant near Petra and spend the day enjoying the beauty this city has to offer.  

We arrive at a camp where we have dinner and spend the night.

 

Day 3:

We eat breakfast in the camp, then we arrive in Wadi Rum for a 4x4 jeep tour.

We have lunch in Wadi Rum then depart for Allenby Bridge Border where we cross back to Jerusalem.

The price includes:

Accommodations according to the itinerary.
Meals during guided time. 
Entrance fees during guided time. 
4x4 jeep ride.

 

The price does not include:
Israeli Border Tax: $31, payable in US Dollars, Euros, or Shekels.
Jordanian Exit Fee: $14, but payable only in Jordanian Dinar (10 JOD).

Jordanian Visa Fees: the fee varies - please look it up beforehand.  
Travel insurance.
Meals during free time.
Gratuities.

 

Important Visa Information:

Jordan grants travel visa at the border crossing to citizens of most Western countries. Some need to apply for visa in advance, so check with your embassy for information.

For a re-entry to Israel, please check eligibility for a Visa on Arrival or arrange a multiple entry visa to Israel in advance.

 

For Israeli citizens:

This tour is only available to Israeli citizens with dual nationality and a passport of a country other than Israel.

What to bring:
